Cutwel, the UK and Ireland leading engineering cutting tool supplier, is demonstrating its commitment to the metrology sector by opening a fully equipped Metrology Centre at its offices in West Yorkshire.
Situated just off Junction 26 of the M62, the new showroom is now open for anyone to visit on an appointment basis. Visitors to the centre will be greeted by a member of Cutwel’s technical team who will accompany them during their visit.
Within the showroom is a wide range of instruments from all of Cutwel’s dedicated measuring tool suppliers: Insize, Mahr, Johs Boss, M.Conti and Blum Novotest. During a visit you will have the chance to try small tool instruments such as calipers, micrometers, touch probes and more. Cutwel’s technical team member can also perform live demonstrations of larger measuring systems such as hardness testers, pre-setters, height gauges and more.
Cutwel has invested heavily in setting up the centre and is hoping this will attract visitors from far and wide to experience at first hand the quality of the measuring tools it supplies, which should increase the company’s market share in the metrology sector.
Cutwel would also like to make customers aware of Hawk 3D Proto, its 3D Printing Division. This is also located within the facility and has a luxurious state-of-the-art 3D Printing showroom. Customers are more than welcome to combine visits to both showrooms at the same time.
