Yamazaki Mazak has strengthened its laser sales force in the UK with three new dedicated laser sales team members.
The laser team, which will be led by Ian White, the general sales manager for Laser at Yamazaki Mazak, will include Dean Catchpole, area sales manager for Laser in Northern England, and Aaron Manchester, area sales manager for Laser in Southern England.
Ian White joins with thirteen years’ experience of working in the laser processing industry, with the remit to grow Mazak’s share of the laser market.
Ian White says: “The Mazak laser team can offer a wide range of solutions across all 2D, 3D and tube cutting applications. We are committed to growing our laser customer base in the UK and Mazak has made significant investments in new laser technologies and service back-up to support this ambition in the UK.”
Dean Catchpole joined in October and has eleven years’ experience of working in engineering and manufacturing. He has spent the last six years working as a laser production engineer and also has sales experience in the aerospace sector.
Aaron Manchester comes from a CNC background and is familiar with the Mazak customer base, due to his previous experience as an applications engineer for Mazak.
