Creaform\u2019s optical CMM solution and 3D scanner win IDEA\u00a02017 award in Commercial & Industrial Products category<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>Creaform, a worldwide leader in portable and highly accurate 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, has announced that its portable optical CMM solution and 3D scanners, which include the MetraSCAN 3D<\/a>, C-Track and HandyPROBE Next<\/a>, won Bronze during the International Design Excellence Awards<\/a> (IDEA), a premier international design competition held each year by the Industrial Design Society of America<\/a> (IDSA).<\/p>\n

More than two dozen global design experts weighed in on products covering 20 categories. This year\u2019s awards attracted hundreds of entries from design firms, companies, and universities hailing from 54 countries. The products were judged on their design innovation, user experience, benefits to clients as well as society, and aesthetics.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cWe are thrilled that Creaform\u2019s solution won such a prestigious award from the Industrial Design Society of America,\u201d say Nicolas Lebrun and Fran\u00e7ois Lessard, two of Creaform\u2019s Senior Industrial Designers. \u201cBeating out so many worthy competitors is truly an honour. Creaform\u2019s portable optical CMM lineup also won the Red Dot: Best of the Best \u2013 Product Design\u00a02016 for its quality and breakthrough design.<\/p>\n
