TDT Technology appointed as sole UK agent for Feeler

Machine tools manufactured under the Feeler brand can now be accessed in the UK via newly-appointed sole agent, TDT Technology. Although Feeler machines have been available in the UK for several years, it is thought that a change in UK representation will help deliver greater market penetration. The decision was taken based on TDT’s proven track record of sales, service and support that dates back to 1993.

tdt-news-story-picFeeler is a brand of the multi-national Fair Friend Group (FFG), which has 83 companies worldwide. In fact, FFG marked its entry into CNC machine tool manufacture with the launch of the Feeler brand in 1985. The first Feeler moving column vertical machining centre came off the production line the following year.

Today, a full range of Feeler machine tools is available in the UK from TDT Technology, including lathes (boxway and linear), vertical CNC lathes, vertical machining centres (linear and boxway), 5-axis machining centres, multi-axis mill-turn centres and horizontal machining centres.

Simon Hewson, managing director of TDT Technology says: “We are looking forward to promoting the wide-ranging advantages of Feeler machines to the UK’s manufacturing base. The premise of Feeler is the delivery of high quality, high capability machines that also offer affordability. With this in mind, the machines will appeal on a broad level to all industry sectors. We intend to concentrate on showing potential customers how they can leverage the advantages of Feeler machines to achieve genuine competitive gain.”

Over the years, Feeler machines has earned a world-class reputation for product excellence and reliability. This success is the result of innovative design, in-house machining capabilities and rigorous quality control. Beyond sales, TDT Technology will also be assuming the servicing, spare parts supply and technical support for all existing Feeler machines in the UK.
